We promote the use of Planning Performance Agreements (PPAs) for strategic and very complex projects.
PPAs are designed to improve the quality of planning applications and the decision-making process; this is through collaboration and an agreed approach to project management. By taking this approach, it allows us, the developer and key stakeholders to work through a clear framework to deliver major projects.
We provide guidance on their use in our PPA Charter.
Our Planning Performance Agreement template provides a standard format, although precise details will depend on the nature and complexity of each project and agreement between key stakeholders on its content.
